All Fm radio show on Monday night

Sunday, July 25th, 2010

We’re presenting another Unsigned Show from 11pm-1am on Monday night. You can listen on 96.9FM in the Manchester area and on allfm.org

We have live sessions from Sam and the Bathroom Crooners, plus We are Willow – who are made up of Chris Butler from Butler Williams, and Kathryn Edwards.

So it’s going to be a great night of live music, and we’ll be fitting in as many of the best unsigned tracks as we can too…

Recommended gig in Bristol tomorrow: Lisa Redford

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

Really enjoyed doing the radio show on All FM last night with Danny. We managed to fit a lot of tracks in, and we had Manchester legends I Am Kloot playing live in the studio. We chatted to them about touring, their forthcoming album, and, well, lots of other random stuff.

For anybody who’s in the Bristol area tomorrow night, go down to the Prom on Wednesday. NYC-based Lisa Redford has returned to the UK and is doing a mini-tour. She’s on around 9.30pm.

Exeter / Phoenix

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

Having a good time down in Exeter. Last night went to the Exeter Phoenix arts centre to check out the originally Totnes-based cabaret phenomenom which is Wondermentalist. It was a great evening, full of a variety of weird and wonderful acts, mostly performance-poetry related. Highly recommended!

I’m playing at the Exeter Phoenix this afternoon from 1.30pm, in the terrace / cafe area, as part of the Exeter Respect festival. It’s also going out on 106.8 FM in the Exeter and www.phonic.fm worldwide… The event is free.

See you later,

Tom

Manchester International Festival – and an alternative

Friday, June 29th, 2007

The Manchester International Festival runs from 28th June to 15th July in Manchester. It features a range of events, from dance, through art to Music.

Brand new this year is a completely unofficial, alternative fringe event. It hosts over 50 gigs, art exhibitions and other events. We’re running a special Songs for the Bath Tub event at Trof in the Northern Quarter. And I’m being interviewed and doing a live set on Manchester’s all fm on monday 9th July, 3-4pm.

Music!

Questionable pop!

Friday, February 9th, 2007

If you see lots of rubbish pop music appearing on my last.fm profile, that’s because I’m showing my parents the last.fm recommended music program. Okay?
