Okay… I’m on the train back to Manchester now, after a tiring but really worthwhile couple of days. I enjoyed doing the recording, and catching up with some mates. Also saw some great concerts at Newcastle university. Didn’t get all that much sleep though!
Here’s a rough-mix version of Sometimes these words, recorded live at King’s Hall, Newcastle.

Hey Tom, glad to hear your keeping busy, new recording is sounding great! Plymouth music scene is as poor as ever.
Looked like I was joining substation for a while, had one practice but now it looks as if they have split up so its back
to square one! Know anyone down here who needs a drummer? 😀 Give us a shout if your around again anytime?
By the way I found your strap and kappo (or whatever that things called) but the tuners nowhere to be found. I think you
have my mic too, but its shite so ill donate it to the tom kerswill cause.
Good luck mate and keep it up!

Hi Tom,
Wow that sounds awesome. I think it’s my favourite song of yours and it’s really well perfomed too.
Great song and great performance. Like the recording space, who needs convolution reverb
plug ins when you can have the real thing:)You’re going to make an A&R person very happy soon:)
