New open mic finder

Martin Joiner’s been in touch via the blog, to promote a new open mic finder that he’s put together, using info from more regional blogs like mine. It looks pretty good, and allows you to track down open mics in a range of cities. You can also add / suggest new open mics.

Currently it includes open mics in Bristol, Bath, Newquay, Taunton, Leeds, Manchester and loads of others — there’s a bias towards South West towns at the moment but I think it’ll expand more nationally. Useful for bands who are on tour and have a few evenings free!

You can check out his open mic finder here.

  • What Tom says it all true. If you are reading this blog then the chances are you’re into music and I hope what I have built can serve you well at some point.

The South West bias wasn’t planned. It just so happened that the first handful of submitters were South Westerners.

Thank you for the support Tom!

(And thanks in advance to anyone who uses the Open Mic Finder)

  • Cool – I hope it goes really well, Martin, and keep in touch!
